BOOKS MUST BE PURCHASED BY THE STUDENT PRIOR TO CLASS

Description: Through classroom sessions and practical fieldwork, this course will provide the student with the knowledge and skills required for driver operators in accordance with NFPA 1002. This course will take the new driver/operator through the basic pump components and operational procedures to the advanced levels of apparatus preventive maintenance considerations and application of multiple water streams, master stream appliances and friction loss calculations. This course is designed for the experienced firefighter who is expected to drive and operate first line attack and supply engines. (ProBoard Certification)
